1999. Merry X Post 99This is the first perforated Christmas Edition. It features "Stella," a Husky/Newfoundland cross. Also known as a "Grantham's Blue-eye," Stella has webbed feet and piercing blue eyes. The stamp is made from an original Polaroid snapshot. Original sheet printed onto KAO Coated Inkjet Paper with an Apple StyleWriter 2400. 17 Canon Colour copies made from original. Perforated by Ed Varney using a 1896 pin-hole perforating machine. 36 stamps per sheet, 6x6. 2 signed, unnumbered sheets were given as payment for perforation. Numbers 14 & 15 kept by the artist.
